Is there anyone making a lexan true 1/24 scale body to represent the VE commodore and FG Falcon. Would get tracks like mine more interested if there was more V8 super car representation in the scale world.

Funny you should mention those,..I just found these on eBay.

Resin VN Group A Commodore

Cavalier 1977 TORANA SL/R 5000 A9X (4 door.) 468 of 500

Cavalier 1969 HT MONARO GTS 350 with Pewter rims and bumpers!!!!!!

You know,..Not being one who is in Any way even Vaguely addicted to V8 Supercars, I find it somewhat Odd, that even within the Realm of SIM Racing, there is this Obsessed Passion about the Damn things,..some people won't race Anything BUT,..sigh.

To be Honest, especially considering the Kits and Bodies required would pretty much All be available within almost Every Class, If we were suggesting a Popular 'Aussie Category',...Why Not Cars from the Older Group C ???

In both Lexan and especially in resin and Hard Body Plastic Kits, MANY of the bodies might already be available.

Plus,..Who the Heck would Paint all those New Complicated V8 Liveries ???

Perhaps a 1/32 Plafit Class could use 'Donor' Scalextric V8 Supercar Bodies, as atleast then they Might actually Handle !!!
