In case Any of you are wondering what Are the Rules for the "Porsche Cup" class and where to find them, they are available via the 'link' below;
http://ausmcr.com/forum/index.php?/topi ... gulations/

Please note, that whilst the Chassis for these cars are Fairly Straight-forward and relatively Simple, there IS quite a bit of Work required to accurately and 'Correctly' Build and Assemble the Bodies and Suitable 'Guidance' should be sought,... from those that know :)

Yes Mark 2 min heats as per all our racing ,Pagey and his boys have said they will be up for them, so it should be a good night.I will be making cars for people and holding classes at HSC to show people chassis set up and body mounting.

Come to think of it ,we could race 4min heats because there is only one class, so one race goes for 45 minutes So if we start at 6pm Racing will be finished by 8 to 8.30

Hi Guys

A couple of things to note.

I doubt that anybody will travel far for a total of 16 mins of racing and even 32 mins of racing is not all that exiting - so why not make it 5 min mains like the old days?

I disagree with leaving the inserts out - we should be sticking exactly to the current rules - by the way please ensure that they are actually read and understood.

Here is a link to a dropbox download for them: -

We will need a decent number of starters to make it worthwhile also as we will need marshals.

Cheers

Hi Guys Yes we will keep the HSC Porsche rules to the Australian rules, so yes you must run wheel inserts.

Hi guys,
Am unsure Exactly What / Which 13 tooth Pinions James will be Stocking,.. but from My own Personal (and OUR Team Experience), as well as Many of the Other Porsche Cup competitors both this year and last, the "Slot.it" Ergal Pinion makes for a very good and arguably Wise choice !!
They Mesh Extremely well, with Pretty much All the 44 tooth spurs of Choice, such as Plafit, JP etc.
Are Very well made (typical Slot.it product) and seem to Last a very Long time and Provide a very Quiet and Smooth mesh !!

NB !!!
Just make Sure you get the Correct 7mm one, NOT the Smaller dia' one !!!!
See here;

OK now I am confused (again some may say)

So I guess you mean Cam?

What new body?

I thought it was going to be a Porsche Cup Series? - We already have these bodies?

Are we really heading down the well trodden path (lets call it the 'slippery slope') of changing the game so that bodies we now have will be redundant?
