Thanks for explaining, as I have'nt been racing, I have not kept up with the Brock's recent history.

My first Brock race was about 1976 on Kym's new "Vertical Bank King" track at Springvale?

It was a great track.

Rick Bishop won, I came second. We were not used to the great power that the track had and I ran out of brushes in my Pooch 16t/24s when leading the race by over 100 laps. Rick went to Moonee Raceway and bought a 26 turn 26 before the event and was the only one not to have motor troubles. We had never heard of chokes in those days as lower power and thin track wiring was the norm.
