Nats rule changes

Post by ozproducts »

The motor for utes is PS - 2000. ( NOT ps-200)
You can run shunts and insulation in GTP-12
You can run balls in can and endbell if you like
Also the 27 Lite Chassis rules are these, NOT what was stated before.
Chassis must be made of steel with a minimum thickness of .047''Must be one continuous piece from the guide mount to the rear axle centreline. to which the rear pillow blocks are attached.
Basic chassis cannot be modified, and must remain as submitted with regard to rail widths, including slots for pillow blocks, etc. Any commercially availiable pillow blocks may be used.Minimum length is 4.100''as measured from the center of the guide hole to center of the axle.
At the end of the race the Top 3 drivers will have their motors taken apart and checked.

Hi Wayne,

In 27L I take it you mean with chassis "submitted" means submitted to USRA?
