Spray Glue

Post by dennist »

Geoff, Adrien, Peter etc,

Talking to Chris at T Birds, would like to know from your experience the best formula to spray the King track.

Is there a different formula for say Flexis, Grp 12 compared to say Grp 27 or Open racing?

Thanks Guys.

Does depend on the surface. For my track I mix 1 bottle of Medium Tire Bite with 1 Litre of Shellite and spray the track in corners only with a light spray. I only use about 1.5L to spray the whole track. I top the track up on the entry to the corners about every 3 weeks. I don't do anything different for wing cars cause my track is faster with the rubber down. It is trail and error. It's best to start off light spray as if you spray to much cars will just get bogged down everywhere.

Here I use 1 Bottle Koford Med to 1.5lt Shellite for Flexicars
Gp12 wings and INT 15 usually 1 bottle Koford Med to 1LT shellite sprayed over the rubber put down by flexi cars i also clean the straights after spraying the corners
27's and Opens 1 Bottle Koford Heavy to 1 Lt Shellite
Since the Nats i have also started cleaning all the braid in the corners after spraying the track makes a big difference
