Hey !!

Thanks 'Heaps' Gary for the 'Mods' and 'Putting them Up' !!

Hopefully, Everyone Should be Happy, as the classes like the Ninco's, Slot.it's and SCX Nascars etc are Virtually Identical to Last time.
The NSR details were arrived at through some discussion and I thank Shane for his 'Input'.

The Scalextric class IS being run as a Magnet class, as that class is rather popular at HSC.

The 1/32 Plafit class is using the Basic Rule set, as we Have and Still do race under at HSC, which is basically the 2009 Queensland Championship rules.

The 1/24th Plafit JGT rules, are as per the current 2011 APC rules and 'Further Details' for this class regarding Body Part details etc, can be found Here; http://www.aplafitc.com.au/index.php?op ... &Itemid=35

Thanks again and thanks also to James and Wayne at HSC! :)

Big thanks to Gary Johnson for posting the event rules and format.

I hope people will get behind Hornsby and support this event as we will be from
Adelaide. I've been doing some PR from this end and Armchair Racer is going to help out with prizes for the Slot.it class as we will in the NSR classes. Big thanks to Jim from Armchair :D

Also well done to Hornsby for making the effort to run the scale nationals. ;)

Can we get some location/accomadation details if thats not a problem as well Stoo.

Gee Shane, Thanks for the Heads up re the Sponsors. :)

For those interested in Accomodation details, there are a couple of choices, with the Closest and probably lower/lowest cost, being the "Bluegum Hotel".
Accom' details Here; http://www.bluegumhotel.com.au/accomodation.html

Relatively simple, but OK and has been utilised by Many an Interstate Racer in the Past. :)
It is situated about 3 to 5 minutes walk from the Track, on the Pacific Highway, a few minutes walk from Waitara Railway Station as well.
It is a relatively large and popular hotel, with a very popular restaurant.

A bit further away, there is the the "Wahroonga Spanish Motel", this is also situated on the Pacific Highway a bit before the Bluegum and Track.
Arguably also a 'Walkable' distance, but might suit those with cars/families etc.
See here; http://www.ourguest.com.au/wsm.html

There Are other options, but are further away.
:)
Cheers,

A question was Raised re the SCX Nascar Class, with reference to the Various Body Styles and asked whether the Earlier 'Aero' style cars could be used or would it be Limited to the Later COT style cars.

As far as I can tell, the cars are basically, Technically identical, (apart from the Body Shell), so apart from the 'Purists' standpoint, can see No problem with a Mixed entry as such.

If anyone can throw some light on the subject technically which may cause some 'issues',..please reply with the relevant information.

The rule set is basically the Same as was used at the Last MCN at Mobile Raceways, with the 'Intent' of providing ongoing consistency etc and in that regard, we do Not want to preclude anyone from running in the class because they have 'The Wrong Car' etc.

Cheers.
Stewart

EDIT;
Well that is 'sorted',..Either car can be raced!
