Subframe Adjuster?

Post by Mikey B »

Hello everyone,

Could somebody please tell me what the 'Subframe Adjuster' does to the Plafit 1700 chassis and where it goes? Pictures would be great if it's not too much trouble.
Here's a link to it on the Ace Hobbies website. http://acehobbies.com.au/store/product_ ... cts_id=156

Thanks, Mikey.

Mikey,

Usually it goes in your box never to be seen again unless you need a spare screw.

Or if you feel the need to use it - it bolts to the chassis in front of the motor box and the tabs on the rear of the subframe fit through the channels, then you can adjust the vertical movement of the subframe with the two screws with springs. It will also keep the subframe from moving laterally which is generally to be avoided.

Clear as mud isn't it
Cheers,

I think you're right

I think you're right about it staying in the box, because that's way to complicated for me. But thanks anyway.

Hi Mikey,

Did you see Werner's reply on the "Mobile" forum concerning the "H" Plate.

Problem is it's HIS rules where it is called a "H" plate.

Go Figure??????
