Re: N.S.W STATE TITLES 4 PLAFIT CARS

Stoo and Luke, both good points. My argument for stoo is how many scratch builders are currently out there and racing. Look at the racers at HSC where this retro deal has the biggest following and there is a handful and there are alot of Oz product cars out there and for $200 odd dollars it is not c...

Re: MODEL CAR NATS- WHAT'S WRONG?

no. The problem is there is not enough "good" painters or people that do this detail work. We are stuck in the middle with mostly racers that prefer a good handling car over a fantastic looking car. There are some that get away with what i am about to say but in my experience with working ...

Drag Strip up at a racers place in his huge shed.

Will be invite only so we will see how it plays for the time being and if he is comfortable with it then we will begin to look at bigger events.

Re: Wing 12 Qualifying Power

why do you not qualify on race power anyway?

What purpose other than ego boosting does this serve lol.

You do not see us cranking the drag strip to 18 volts and then 16 for racing.

Just a question as to why is all.

Re: MODEL CAR NATS- WHAT'S WRONG?

Hosting events on the same weekend is the first problem. Yeah local racers not turning up is and can be an issue but... this is a growing thing only into its 3rd event and trying to find a date is the hardest thing. I would have loved to have come but i was in QLD for the real drags crewing/photogra...

WSMCR Closure

As of Monday night, we made the regrettable decision to close our doors as of Sunday May the 30th. We have had to deal through some issues recently (the last 12 months) and unfortunately these issues have not been dealt with in a timely manner which has affected the business to the point that we are...

Re: New track at Narangba

Yeah ill be at Hornsby for a look see as i can only devote a couple of hours away from the shop for the time being but i was thinking of a 6 hour race with 3 in the day and then break for dinner and then 3 in darkness but need to make sure it does not clash with other track events and so on. Somethi...

Re: WSMCR-Ingleburn..

Well....What a night. We started the season last week but we officially kicked it off this week with our first points race. Some many things to think and worry about in putting this race together, How do we do the brackets, how many laps per bracket, what if the two cars wind up on the same lap, wha...

125mm?? you may as well run walls between each lane lol.

1/32 cars will make the track look enormous.

Looks neat though.

Re: WSMCR-Ingleburn..

Oh, We are still running the Group C enduro as planned as we had a late Plafit shippment come in Friday. Any questions ask away. Even though we do not meet "standards" set by some over bearing types, our 6 lane 100mm (ish) track has held some great GT1 events, SCX events and will have some...

Re: WSMCR-Ingleburn..

We have Finally Sorted out our 2010 Plans for Circuit Racing. As last year was everyones first racing year on the new track we took things pretty easy but this year we will look to have that same relaxed attitude but we will be more stringent with the rules. A couple of new classes have been added a...
