Ken Macdowell has passed away
This was posted on the OWH site, others may already know of Kens passing, he visited the Raceway at Hornsby in late 90's and remarked it was one of the best raceways he had visited .
Ken was the founder of Parma International.

So, the H-field strength at any point inside a long solenoid wound with 79.57 turns per meter of a wire carrying 1 amp will be approximately 1 oersted. The preceding statement is exactly correct if the solenoid considered is infinite in length and the current evenly distributed over its surface. The...

Re: Aussie Retro Nat's. Race Report and Pics.
Stoo, Great Race Report as usual, I always look forward to reading them. Thanks again for the time you put into writing these events into the history books. Just wondering if James could supply the files for all of the races and you publish these rather than go to the trouble of making up another ra...

It came as a bit of shock when during seperate conversations with both of them that their respective ages was mentioned. :o I turned 54 this year and they had a couple of years on me when I started racing in my late teens at Waitara, G&am...

Congrats on the 600 laps, was it a full field or just the 4 drivers listed in the results?
