I think you won by nature of the last round win and equal points - I count you both as being on the same points.

Re: NSW State Titles Round #2 - Raceworld King Track
Yes looks like you did pip my Brabham total by a lap, however I did notice that I did a 44 on Blue.
So need to update that one on Wayne's board as well.

Re: NATS 2016 rules
My view on Ricks 2 points. Glue on tyres I don't recommend glue on tyres at all - if you allow it - I would simply over glue my tyres and move the car back to a strategic corner and artificially glue the track - not a good idea. Race Format 9 times out of 10 the winner comes from the last race, espe...

Re: Our Bodies...
Hey, with the car I have been using at Hornsby, it is the same car that I brought over from the U.S - JK Kit thing - while I did build a new car for Wayne's track and I have tried other chassis's - I still seem to be with the JK car. And as such the same body. What I like about Retro, is that I can ...

Ball Bearings - Axle thoughts
At the wing nats in April - we voted to allow axle ball bearings in all classes, the reason for this was that with the cost of ball races (chinesse) now vs the cost of the bronze bush - making a ball race a better option. Axles and gears were seen to suffer more with a bush than a ball race. Has any...

Re: 2015 Brabham Trophy
Good write up Mark - thanks, enjoyed the run - F1's are a blast to drive. Had a niggling issue for the first few brackets - right hand front wheel did not turn - was seized by corrosion. Felt like it was putting the brakes on in the bank, took a few lane changes to get it working - slack preparation...

Yes it doesnt provide a driving challenge, but hey my grp 7 is punched at 1.8's The car has been tested now for 1300 laps - best time 3.04, time at 1300 laps 3.10 - this is running 13.8V. We are...

Group F - testing
At the Nats I had some discussions on entry level class's for Wing cars. This spiked my interest so I have been playing around with a group F style car. What I have been using started as a JK ready to run car with hawk 6. On Waynes track this was relatively slow (3.6 lap times), I messaged P.A and g...

Re: wing 12 rule change
To be fair Geoff wouldnt you need to do at least a 3 year return on investment factoring the potential amount of consumables (oil) that would need to be used and the cost differential of the consumables.

Re: wing 12 rule change
I thought with the Ball races that Rocky now sells that a ball race is cheaper than a bronze bush.
